What is Included: Students pay their home campus tuition as normal. Housing is paid for in-country.

Students will be placed in the partner university's (HELP) residence hostel or in a hotel apartment located on the partner university's campus.

The hostel accommodation includes mattress, duvet, and protector, built-in wardrobe, desk and chair, individual air-conditioner, secured access card system, attached bathroom, window curtain. Students would need to bring their own towels, pillow, bed sheets and blanket or take advantage of a bedding accessories rental package.

The apartment accommodation includes mattress, duvet and protector with pillow, sheets, and blanket, built-in wardrobe, desk and chair, individual air-conditioner, secured access card system, attached bathroom, window curtain, tv, towel and bathmat. This is a fully furnished room with housekeeping once per week.
What is not Included: Students are expected to pay for their own meals/food as well as any sightseeing or personal travel.
Estimated Costs: Tuition: Same tuition rate as the student normally pays for their location/modality.
Housing: $567 - 687 per month (depends on the type of accommodation)
Meals: $225 - 300
Miscellaneous Expenses: $125 per month
Program Description

UIU/HELP is located in Kuala Lumpur, where more than 1,200 students pursue degrees. Malaysia is a warm weather country bordered by Thailand and Indonesia located in between the Indian Ocean and the South China Sea, Malaysia is divided into two parts; Peninsular Malaysia, which has several mountain ranges and fertile plains, and East Malaysia, which contains many rivers and tropical rainforests. Because of its location, Malaysia has a diverse spread of different people and things to do.

UIU Malaysia will provide students with a fascinating introduction to Southeast Asia. Malaysia is moving confidently into the future, centered around its capital, the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur. This city of 1.5 million people is an exciting blend of past, present and future. The city boasts an international culinary scene, hip nightlife, and serves as a meeting place for students from around the world. But Malaysia is more than Kuala Lumpur. There is so much to do in Malaysia, it would be hard to fit it all into one trip. From the exotic beaches of the islands to the multitude of water and outdoor based activities, Malaysia is a great choice for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
